Sumala, a name feared by the people of a village in Semarang Regency from the past to the present. No one dares to go out at night because Sumala will come to kill.. Just caught this in the cinema near me…

I liked it very much

I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the film. After being let down by recent films like Siksa Kubur and Susanna, Sumala executive produced by Luna Maya was a breath of fresh air. I saw the trailer before and didn’t really want to go see it.

Solid performance all round 👏

But my wife dragged me along and I reluctantly obey. Boy did I have fun. Full marks for acting and Maykala the little girl stole the thunder.

A final note, this film simply lacks a cinematic artistic image

Although I would have preferred to see more of Satan, she was the devil’s child by the way, I guess some scenes were not included to keep the time short. I’m a fan of slasher gore movies like Friday the 13th and Elm Street and this movie lived up to my expectations. So kudos to the director 👏 and the producers, I really enjoyed this one.
