If you’re new to this series now that Season 2 has been released, you should do yourself a favor and binge Season 1 first – it’s a good yarn and will offer depth of character and situation that will add to your enjoyment.
Highly recommended – Oldman and Kristin Scott-Thomas are great, as are Jack Lowden and Saskia Reeves
Season 2 seems to have upped its game in terms of production design and cinematography – it really paid off and elevated the series above the usual weekly episode of grind TV.
